Welcome to the Carnival of Joy and the Cultural Fest. 2022 is set to be a wonderful year where we can come together to celebrate our multi-cultural community, strength in diversity and hope. We invite you to be a part of the celebrations in 2022.
The Carnival of Joy is a state-wide community event includes a parade during July, August and September 2022 with the giant talking cockatoo, giant kookaburra and giant koala from Brisbane to Cairns and back again.

The Cultural Fest 2022 will be celebrated with entertainment and food sampling simultaneously at different venues in Townsville on 19-21 August 2022. The Carnival of Joy will parade into Townsville to visit the Cultural Fest.
