The start of something special

We officially start the Carnival of Joy today at 10.30am at Captain Burke Park Kangaroo Point Brisbane.

The Carnival of Joy includes a parade of the:

• Giant cockatoo
• Giant kookaburra
• Giant koala

Through more than 50 Queensland communities including:

• Brisbane
• Gold Coast
• Bundaberg
• Rockhampton
• Mackay
• Townsville
• Cairns
• Port Douglas
• Atherton
• Charters Towers
• Emerald
• Miles
• Toowoomba
• Ipswich
• And more...

The parade will continue throughout July, August and September 2021. You can still register to secure a visit from the Carnival of Joy to your school, child care centre, business or venue. Simply click here for details.
